Jordan established Activate in 2015 after frustration with the approach that a number of health care providers had toward patients. The facade is up, Physio and health practitioners are here to help you. We want to change the ego-driven system that doesn’t put the patients needs first. Jordan's passion lies in innovating and challenging systems and processes while designing the most effective treatment approach for Activate clients. He also owns and directs 22 F45 Training Studios across Sydney and Brisbane and combines his expert exercise-based approach to training into his physio practice and approach to patients.</p> <p>“My passion is to innovate and challenge the health system. Sam joined Activate Health Clinics in September 2017. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from both the public and private physiotherapy sectors. He has worked with a variety of sporting teams including Roseville Rugby, Balmain Districts Football Club and the Cranbrook School's 1st XV rugby and 1st XI and soccer teams. Sam combines his expertise in manual therapy techniques with the best exercise and movement based strategies to return you to activity as quickly as possible.
Tom joined Activate in 2019. Having previously worked in private and aquatic physiotherapy as well as for the NSW Country Eagles Rugby Union Team he brings a movement and return-to-play based focus to the team. A keen surfer and gym-goer, Tom knows the frustration of missing out on doing what you love because of injuries having had his fair share. Combining manual therapy, exercise and movement-based programming he will have you back to exercising as fast as possible. “My approach to Physio is simple - Manual therapy to calm injuries down, exercise therapy to build you back up``
Brendan Joined the Activate team in 2019. He listens and aims to understand you and your issue. This allows Brendan to identify your motivation and effectively design and manage your treatment and rehabilitation program. Brendan is trained in Reformer Pilates and believes in educating you to move correctly in a dynamic way is the key to having you back to your best as fast as possible. “If you can’t perfect a simple move, how do you expect to master a complex one? I aim to break down your movements and end goal into stages and work through them step by step with you!``
Sophie has a background in personal training. She loves meeting new people and enjoys being able to work with and support them on their path to better health.<br /> Sophie believes that massage can help anyone, whether it be for some relaxation time after a big week at work or specific treatment styles to help with injury recovery!
Nanci is a holistic Nutritionist who believes strongly in the power of food as medicine. She specialises in a range of issues and ailments, such as weight management, athletic performance, hormonal balance, gut issues, stress, skin health, pre and post natal preparation, and general health and wellness. She is also a qualified yoga teacher and soon to be naturopath, and likes to incorporate all modalities into her clients treatment plans.
